This last weekend there was an incident at Eagle Raceway with multiple people known to be involved. One person was arrested and others still have not come forward. This incident involved them damaging multiple pieces of equipment at the track, and if we are not able to fix these pieces of equipment soon, we may have a tough time being ready to race this weekend. We will let everyone know a status update tomorrow on this.
We will do everything in our power to be race ready as normal and do whatever it takes. We know who the other individuals are that were involved. We feel the others involved should come forward and take responsibility for their actions this week in order to avoid more severe consequences. We would like everyone to know, if you are found on our property without permission or staff present from now on, you will be prosecuted. Now that that is said, have a great week and hope to see everyone this weekend!
I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.

This kind of stuff just pisses me off! I've traveled all over the country and ever since I was a kid I would talk my parents into stopping at racetracks just to go in and look around. More and more you find gates locked and you're trying to peer through a fence a half a mile away or something. I don't blame the track at all. They've got to protect their property, but I can't stand all of these idiots screwing things up for everybody else! Sorry for my rant.

Shit I'm with you man! It's been close to 20 years but I've lost track of the places we used to just walk into like we owned it with no problem at all. Terre Haute, the Indy mile, IRP, Winchester, and I'm sure there were more I just can't remember. So sad when one set of dipshits ruins it for everyone!

oh, don't be sorry! Dirtfan#1, when we go to the track its our understanding that we'll enjoy our time there. Not always the case but, you cant stop me from attending sprint car tracks when sprints are running. We've seen (me & friends) some jackass people doing ridiculous things but, vandilisam is taking from a venue where I enjoy this sport. It feels personal when news like this is aired.
Peace, Out.

According to the article I just read, it was in fact a local sprint driver that was arrested for part of this incident. Sure not the smartest thing to do I guess.

ouch, rumor has it 2 more local racers were involved. Hope all track owners take note of the names and dont let them race at their tracks. Glad they will be able to get the show in tonight
