Twin 25’s $2500 to win for NCRA Modifieds PPD!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Park City, Kansas – April 13, 2015 - Citing several unfavorable circumstances officials with the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products as well as 81 Speedway in Park City have postponed this weekend’s third annual “Modified Spring Scramble.
Due to an unfavorable weather forecast for the latter part of this week as well as the weekend, dirt work continuing on the pit area behind the back stretch and the series modified teams working on the adjustment to the new Hoosier modified tire, the series and track officials have decided to postpone the twin 25’s, both paying $2500 to win, two-day show until Friday and Saturday night, October 10-11, at 81 Speedway. The originally scheduled series sprint car program has also been rescheduled.
However, the NCRA modified series will still open their 2015 race season this Saturday night with the normal tour purse that pays $1000 to win. Joining the race card will be the tracks street stock and thumper divisions.
Gates will open at 5:00 PM with racing slated for a 7:00 PM start time. 81 Speedway is located north of Wichita on I-135 to exit 16, then 0.7 mile west on 77th street in Park City.
