Payout for Twin $2500 to Win NCRA Modified Spring Scramble

 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Park City, Kansas - April 2, 2015 - The payout for the third annual modified “Spring Scramble” featuring the season opener for the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products modified division has been released with a special Saturday night program for the April 17-18 program at 81 Speedway in Park City.

Pre-entries are now being accepted for this event and are encouraged to not only save driver’s money and also save on paper work come race weekend.

Friday night’s program: It all kicks off on that Friday night where drivers will draw in for two different sets of heat races. Finishing and passing points will be added together to make up the starting positions in Saturday night’s last chance features and first 25 lap feature finale. The top fourteen in those finishing and passing points will automatically qualify for the first seven rows for the first feature with the balance of the twenty car field being added out of the last chance features.

Saturday night’s program: Last chance features will be run with the top six in the championship night’s “B” feature transferring to the feature finales.

After the first twenty-five lap feature is complete, the field will be inverted from that finish with the cars that drop out or lapped starting at the tail of the field for the second feature finale. Drivers will be paid on how they finish both 25 lap segments.

Below is the payout for both 25 lap twin features:

1) $2500, 2) $1500, 3) $1000, 4) $900, 5) $800, 6) $700, 7) $600, 8) $500, 9) $450, 10) $400, 11) $350, 12) $350, 13-15) $325, 16-20) $300

The pay is not based on car count and is a guaranteed purse of over $30,000.

Entry fee, if post marked by April 13th is $100 with entry fee received after April 13th costing $150.

NCRA or USRA rules will be allowed and NO mixing and matching of rules as you must choose which rules package you will be competing.

The inaugural modified “Spring Scramble” saw “The Reaper” Ryan Gustin take home the $5000 victory while last year’s winners were Thomas Tillison, Jr. and Gustin in the first year for this current twin $2500 to win format.

Gates will open both nights at 5:00 PM with Friday night’s racing slated for a 7:30 PM start time with Saturday night’s “Spring Scramble” starting at 7:00 PM. More race information including recommended lodging will be forthcoming.
