NCRA Sprint Opener Now Pays $6000 to Win!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Park City, Kansas – March 18, 2015 - Officials with the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products are proud to announce the season opener for the series sprint car division just got a bit more enticing. What has paid $5000 to win the past couple of years will now pay $6000 to win as Pepsi presented the 5th annual “Air Capital Shootout” slated for Saturday night, March 28, at 81 Speedway in Park City. Just starting the night’s championship feature will still pay $500.

Wichita based Mel Hambelton Ford has become a huge partner with 81 Speedway and has added $1000 to the winners share, making this the largest paying purse in NCRA sprint history.

Also competing will be the Wingless Oklahoma Warriors (WOW), a non-wing sprint car series based in Oklahoma that will begin its second full season of operation and for the second year in a row will open up their 2015 campaign at 81 Speedway.

Former winners of the “Air Capital Shootout include Danny Lasoski (2011); Jason Johnson (2012, 2013) and Kevin Swindell (2014).

Advanced tickets are on sale now at the speedway and are $15 for adults ages 11 and up; $5 for children 6-10. You can purchase you tickets by calling the 81 Speedway office (316) 755-1781.

Gonna load dad up and head to 81 for our first time Saturday. I didn't realize it's as close to Wichita as it is to Devil's bowl for me. Rain out in Mesquite may be a blessing in disquise- a new track (for us) and I look for a good car turn out. Sadlle up WOWboys!
