The only reason I turn that garbage on anymore is to root for the Sprint Car guys (Stewart, Kahne, Larson) Tony is having a brutal year but hope he does well for the fact of Sprint Car racing cause lets face it if it wasnt for Tony, Sprint Car racing wouldn't be where it is today.
If anybody but Kinser or Schatz wins...I am a happy
outlaw fan!

I think the fact that Danica is in 23rd place and Tony Stewart is currently in 36th must have this normally brutal HH's crowd in a state of shock. Not much being said on here. The entertainment value of that is priceless.

I though the NASCAR race was pretty good actually. I don't enjoy watching the entire race but flip back and forth. Ending had some drama with the stay out or pit scenario with 20 laps to go. Have to respect when someone dominates like Harvick did.

I expect Tony will eventually come back around. It might take a crew chief change again, but I think he's still got it. Now Danica on the other hand, we know she really doesn't have that kind of talent like a Tony Stewart or Kyle Larson. Her talent is more down at Sammy's level....

Dryslick Willie why do you have to bring Sammy into the picture. Sammy is a legend.. Just appreciate what he did for the sport. Outlaws are goin down now that Steve and Sammy are gone. Schatz will have them covered by summer time. He too is a legend!!

I was just trying to stir up some more shit and make it more entertaining for Stan M. I guess the Sammy lovers are on to me though. Smarter than I give 'em credit for apparently. Dang it!

I'm not a Danica basher but I don't care what others say about her. Racing is entertainment, a break from the reality of the work week, nothing worth getting angry over.

I'm with you. I have a very tough time watching an entire race also. I do enjoy watching the last 25% of the race on Sundays though. I have been to and watched some pretty lame sprint car races too, so let's not pretend they are ALL edge of the seat races.
Either way I will say this--"A bad day watching bad racing still beats a good day at work!" I just like fast cars turning left. (especially when I have a cold one in my hand--either on the couch or in the stands!)

Saw on another web site, Mikey Waltrip's (fired) tire changer is suing for lost salary. $160,000 per year to change tires. No wonder the cost of NASCAR is driving sponsors away.

Actually, I think that salary is well deserved. They have to be fast and in top physical condition. They have as much to do with winning the race as the driver and crew chief. What they do is very dangerous since they're always in danger of being hit and/or crused by other cars. And on top of that, they have to live their whole lives around the track and shop. I think they earn every penny of it. There are plenty of other reasons why sponsors are driven away... especially at MWR.

Harvick is the man! As far as this past race I fell asleep twice trying to watch it. Enough said.

I am a local dirt track guy like most of us. I watch NASCAR but i wish it had a local track set up. Qualifying, heat races, LCQ, and much shorter feature.

i usually watch the start, have a nap, do some yardwork and come back in for the last twenty laps, which is always the best i think...
any yes, happy harvick is tearin' em' up!
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...
