NCRA Modified 2015 Schedule Announced!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Park City, Kansas – February 10, 2015 - The 3rd Annual “Modified Spring Scramble” will kick off another exciting season for the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products modified division as thirteen races in four states dot the 2015 schedule with one new venue among them.
The 17th consecutive season for the NCRA modifieds will kick off with the afore mentioned “Modified Spring Scramble” at 81 Speedway in Park City on Friday and Saturday night, April 17-18. Once again on championship Saturday nights finale will be twin $2500 to win feature events. USMTS rules will be allowed however, no mixing or matching of those and NCRA rules. Please make note this event was to be scheduled the first weekend in April and has been rescheduled for the current dates listed above.
A new venue will host the modified tour on Saturday night, May 30, as Butler County Speedway in Rising City, Nebraska will be only the second “Cornhusker State” track to ever host the tour.
A special pre-Nationals event is slated for Sunday night, June 21, at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, Kansas. The tour will be joined with the series’ late model and sprint car divisions.
Sunday night of Independence Day weekend will see the tour head north to the Belleville High Banks Speedway in Belleville, Kansas for a July 5 battle on the half mile bowl on their first of two appearances.
Next up will be the grand daddy of them all; the O’Reilly Auto Parts presented by Mel Hambelton Ford 59th annual Hutchinson Grand Nationals, atop the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, Kansas on Friday and Saturday night, July 24-25.
After a long hiatus, Outlaw Motor Speedway in Oktaha, Oklahoma will host the tour on Friday night, July 31 and then head to the Salina High Banks Speedway in Salina, Oklahoma on Saturday night for the second year in a row.
For the fourth consecutive year, Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo, Texas will once again be the much anticipated stop for the tour, taking place on Saturday night, August 22.
The annual Labor Day weekend double-header is once again on the schedule, starting at 81 Speedway on Saturday night, September 5, before heading to the Belleville High Banks Speedway for their annual Holiday-Sunday night appearance.
The 17th season is slated to come to a conclusion on Saturday night, October 10, at 81 Speedway.
