Oklahoma Sports Park Releases 2015 Slate!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Geary, Oklahoma – January 12, 2015 - Twenty nights of weekly racing action plus several specials dot the 2015 schedule for Oklahoma Sports Park in Ada, Oklahoma, highlighted by the annual Stock Car and Sport Mod Nationals and annual appearances by the Oil Capital Racing Series.
George Welch’s track will host a swap meet inside the big barn on the OSP grounds on March 21st with the first and only practice session scheduled for March 28.
April 4th will see the first competitive laps turned on the three-eighths mile oval with the first of three, 150 lap enduros on Saturday, April 4. Other 150 enduros are scheduled for July 3 and September 19.
The tracks annual “Spring Fling” will get regular weekly racing action underway on Friday and Saturday night, April 10-11, featuring modifieds, sport mods, stock cars, pure stocks, pro-street and the new economy sport mods. The Saturday night portion will be the first point race for the 2015 race season.
Vintage super modifieds will join the weekly racing action on April 18 while the OCRS sprint car series will make the first of their three appearances on May 9. Other appearances by the Tulsa-based sprint car group will be July 25 and September 12. The vintage super modifieds will return on August 29.
Saturday night racing action will see two breaks from weekly racing action and those are scheduled for May 23 and September 5.
The final weekly point race for the 2015 race season will take place on September 12, held in conjunction with the OCRS sprint show.
The 21ST annual Oklahoma Dirt Championships will take place September 25-26.
The track will end its 2015 race schedule on October 1-3 with the 4th annual Stock Car Nationals and Sport Mod Nationals.
