Path needs a lighting upgrade for sure...If you dont choose the right seat you might have a infield light blasting you directly in the face...It may not be a necessary upgrade but it would be a nice upgrade..The catch fence concerns me more...They aready had a sportsman get through the fence and into the parking lot during a wingless show...
I would be interested to know how many attended the first show Rahmer put on...I'd be equally interested to know if more or less people show up for the next one...
PAPosseRacing.com had their drone there and they have some nice over head shots...I'm sure you could "guesstimate" the attendance by counting the cars in the parking lot and people standing around...

I have never been to Path Valley , but understand its a racey little 1/4 mile track but does need some improvements .So this year will tell the tale as there will be more big dollar events there in 2015 .

I went to the first one but not the second one. It was OK but the hype is a little overrated IMO, kinda like the new kid in town. The place definitely needs a lot of work, more seating and better lighting for starters. I think it would be a great track for midgets and maybe wingless sprints. 1/4 mile is a little on the short side for winged 410's but it's something different once or twice a year, a novelty act.

It was one of the best races I saw all year. The winner didn't come from the front row and there was racing throughout..
The place needs a makeover
I didn't appreciate the parking natzis....I'll be back though!!!

I don't know about the Outlaw show, but it is just great that Path Valley will have three 410 shows. Maybe the Outlaws will eventually come to Path Valley especially if the three Rahmer shows go as well as last year's Speedweek race.

Usac Eastern storm was scheduled to be there 2 years ago...it rained out unfortunately
ardc was there in September 2014...with wingless super sportsmans..good show for 10 bucks
It would be cool to see a usac/ardc double header next year!!

Frankie Kerr won the first National Tour non-wing race at Path Valley on May 7 1992--CRA Eastern tour. PA placed two posse members in the top 5 (Fred Rahmer 2nd and Johnny Mackison in 5th). Track got a little slick for non-wing cars.

Those two pics are from Grandveiw I think.
Yes John, the track at Path that day was TOO slick. They were taking plug wires off for time trials. Actually fast timer Mike Kirby was one of those. Hot laps were great though. The rest of the night was not.
