Why does it say ," the track has decided to cancell in lieu of going forward with an alternative solution."

I live 700 miles away ,and have made it to 11 ovals, but my family is suffering major heartship right now,and can't make it this year.

I had planned to have a small party with fellow fans that couldn't make the drive, and now my stomach is just eatting itself to pieces .

Wish Scott could shed some light on his decision not to go with the ,"alternative solution."

I will make every effort not to miss next year.

Heck i'm seriously thinking about dropping everything and getting on the road, but it's just not fair to my family.

Hope to atleats see updates to ease the pain.

I love sprintcars almost to much to explain.

OH THE PAIN.....

Sorry, but just read your post this morning.

For The PAS to do a PPV, we require a 100-blackout radius from around the track.  We were going to have the Oval Nationals streamed, but the company doing it advised us last Saturday that the blackout could not be enforced.  The company could have not said a word about it and just did the PPV, but they were completely honest and advised us to the fact.  So, we had to pull out.

Thanks very much Scott.

I truely didn't expect you to reply nowing how busy your weekend is,so I realy appreciate you taking the time.

I would like to add that you run a top notch facility, and that is a big reason why it burns so bad when I couldn't attend this year.

I'm very pleased with the update those guy's did a great job last night, and hope to read about the next 2 days of great racing as it happens.

I will be there for your 20th ovals next year.

I hope you guys have a great crowd, and safe races.

thanks.

Amazing.

It's not exactly a secret that MAV TV with Jackslash Media was going to be taping both the Ovals and the Hall of fame race at Canyon. Is that still happening?

There's no question that non wing traditional Sprint Car racing is starting to make a resurgence in different parts of the country and a pay per view of the Ovals would have been good for the sport, but hey, Mav TV ain't bad.

Wish I could get Mavtv or wish Mavtv would stream their station.

I have been very frustrated with MAV tv. I have called the main office 100 time's,my cable company COMCAST a million times.NOPE NOPE NOPE is all I ever get.

We don't get it up here, and last year they took the last 3 races of the chili bowl off PPV.

That was super lame,so now im just going to the chili bowl.

Thanks to JUSTtv for streaming I was able to watch finals live.Hey I would have paid anybody to see those finals, but it wasn't an option.

Not cool how 1 time fans get to the bigger stages ,and burn the fans just like they use to complain about.

MAVtv isn't really helping sprint car racing much.Compressing full shows into 30 mins.
but it's hurting fans all over the WORLD by cock blocking.

As for steaming MAVtv the office told me there sponsors would lose out on comercial time?

Oh well there's really nobody to compete with on TV coverage of dirt racing,so let it burn.

I think that is a little harsh saying that MAVtv is not helping Sprint Car Racing.  Forrest Lucas with his Lucas Oil and MAVtv brands has done tons of good to motor sports racing of all forms with sponsorship as well as bringing the racing to a huge audience.  Just because it does not work for you is not a good reason to bad mouth them.  If there were more companies like those of Forrest Lucas, our sport would be in a much stronger position than it is today.

fumanchu, just as yours was an opinion, my statement above is my opinion.
