I hate to be critical but this is a 305.  You should be able to learn all of the things like what shocks to use, bars to use, blocking the car, stagger and feul.  If you ask the right people they will tell you.  There are base set ups that will work.  I would think you and a willing friend or two should be able to do it.  Good luck.

@linbob thanks for your wonderful foresight. Just because its a 305 doesnt make it anyless competitive. Every good race program has a TEAM who come together collectively to WIN no matter what the division is. Not some yahoos saying, "come on Timmy lets go to the track and run around in the back". Yes I could do that but why waste everyones time and $$. If I am not able to find good help, then yes I will use my knowledge and that of others willing to offer it. Thanks for your input but it sounds condesending. You can always come on down and help us out yourself! Thank you

Sorry I upset you.  The track we race at has about 24  305 cars every week and I do not know of a single car that has hired crew cheif and crew.  It all depends if a guy wants to be hands on and understand what and why things should be done.  We also have 24-30 360 cars every week and I know of none with hired help.  Same pay pit fee for each pit crew member others do not.  When ASCS comes around some of the ASCS have hired crews.  Sorry, I am busy every week racing and I will not be able to help you.  In this area they pay $350-$400 to win 305 feature which might tell you why they can not pay for crews.  WE like 305  class and have run it before we now run 360.  We learn something every week.

Not upset,  I am a hands on guy and know the ins and outs of a sprinter. Just looking to have knowledgable people helping, it can onlyhelp. And you apparently have not been to a race or are from California. Its going to be as if the Outlaws had a 305 class. Its not just your local show, big hitters will be running here so you better be prepared. The pay here is $750 to win. So you better bring your A game.  Im just looking to give myself the best advantge possible. You have my email, maybe you could be a great resource fror my team. Thanks
