Earl Tice, owner of the 29 305 sprint car passed away on Monday. Earl was involved in racing for many years as a driver, owner and anything else you wanted him to do. He was involved with many drivers thru the years. He was one of the good guys who always had a word or a smile to anyone he was visiting with. Racing and the racing community lost a great person.

Earl was a nice guy. He always came over to talk to me at the track. He told me he had cancer. About 2 weeks later he told me that he saw the doctor that morning and the doctor wanted to admit him to the hospital. Earl said hell no. The doctor then told him to go home and go to bed. Earl said he went home, changed his cloths and came to the race track. I thought good for you Earl, if you feel better being at the races then that is what you need to do.
