Sprint Cars, Topless Late Models This Saturday Night at Caney Valley Speedway!

 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Geary, Oklahoma – October 1, 2014 - Osage Casino Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kansas is set to give you an event you will remember to close out the tracks 2014 race season as winged sprint cars sanctioned by the Oil Capital Racing Series and the annual “Octopless” topless late models highlight an action packed racing card this coming Saturday night, October 4.

Hometown sprint car driver Andrew Deal will sure have the crowd behind him as he comes in as current point leader for the OCRS holding a 42 point lead over veteran Danny Smith of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Over twenty drivers are expected for the series final event on the 2014 race season.

The topless late models will be competing for a $2000 top prize while just making the feature finale pays $200 to start.  There is a $100 entry fee for car and driver.

Other divisions that will be competing are: a-mod, B-mod, factory stocks and pure stocks paying $500 to win and $50 to start for each division; grand nationals/street stocks paying $300 to win and $50 to start; micros $200 to win and $50 to start.       

General admission grandstand tickets are just $15 for adults; kids 7-12 and all seniors $5 and children ages 6 and under admitted free. All pit passes are $35. Gates open at 5:00 PM, hot laps at 6:30 PM with racing slated for a 7:00 PM.
