$500.00 BONUS FOR BUDWEISER OVAL NATIONALS FAST QUALIFIERS NOVEMBER 7^TH & 8^TH! 

(Perris, CA, September 27, 2014)  Anne Wilkerson announced today that the fastest qualifiers at the 19^th Annual Budweiser Oval Nationals presented by All Coast Construction, on November 7^th and 8^th, will each earn a $500.00 bonus in memory of National Sprint Car Hall of Famer and two-time CRA Sprint Car champion Billy Wilkerson. 

“Thanks to Anne Wilkerson for stepping up with this generous award for the Oval Nationals fast qualifiers,” promoter Don Kazarian said.  “She always steps up to help the racers and $500.00 for a little over 30 seconds of work both nights is not a bad pay day.  It is also keeps Billy Wilkerson’s name involved with the Oval Nationals.  Billy was not only a champion driver, but he was a true gentleman and would do anything he could to help in the sport.” 

The extra $500.00 goes on top of the two day purse that already stands at more than $91,000.00.  The winner of the Saturday night A Main will take home $20,000.00 and it will pay $1,000.00 to start. 

In addition to Saturday’s big money payday, Friday’s preliminary main will pay $5,000.00 to win and $500.00 to start.  The total purse is $91,115.00 for the two nights of racing.  A separate purse will be paid for the Thursday night 360 portion of the program featuring the USAC West Coast and Southwest Sprint Car Series.

Camping for all events at The PAS is available for $25.00 per night.  The campground will open at noon on Friday.  Tailgating in the spectator parking lot will begin at 1:00 PM for all PAS events as well.

Total Purse Over $91,000

This is a USAC National Competition for Non Wing Sprint Cars.  Amsoil USAC/CRA and USAC National points will be awarded both nights. Tires:  Hoosier 105/16-15 Medium is the only approved right rear tire with the following exception - Emergency Tire 105/18-15 Hard. (Emergency Tire may only be introduced at the discretion of USAC Officials). All other corners are open.Weight: 1325 lbs with driver and equipment.Mufflers: Mufflers are mandatory. Mufflers must not exceed 95 DBA at 100’ radius.

Safety: One way radios are MANDATORY. Rock screens and USAC approved head and neck restraint devices are recommended.

All other rules will be governed by the USAC National rulebook.

I hereby make the following entry for the Oval Nationals at the Perris Auto Speedway on November 7 & 8, 2014 subject to the rules and regulations of Perris Auto Speedway and the Lake Perris Fairgrounds.  Entry is subject to final approval from Perris Auto Speedway. Perris Auto Speedway reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone or car for the Oval Nationals. All entries will compete all three nights. USAC National and USAC/CRA Rules Apply. Provisional starts will be awarded for both National and CRA series.
 

Pre Entry Fee with entry form before October 12, 2014 - $100.00.  
Entries at gate $250.00. Pit passes will be $50.00 for each night. NO REFUNDS.

That is great, hopefully we can get an idea of who is coming, PAS site shows 16 entries and one of those is to be determined, they did add a couple over the weekend, anybody know who is planning from up north and back east?

Hope to see all the big dogs, this could be the year a local driver takes the title
