Rumor has it that they have replaced the 2008 360 nats with a 30 lap demolition derby. Bad slide jobs are strongly encouraged. The support series will be late model stock cars as per requested by Nodust.

i imagine they will keep the southern iowa sprint week ten straight nights of racing..if they do that the dates should be July 31 and August 1 prelims. Saturday August 2nd 360 finals and 410's

I heard they've added a two day test session at Iowa Speedway for Dale Earnhardt Jr. to next year's Southern Iowa Speedweek schedule. It's only $30 per ticket. (btw, Iowa Speedway has announced they've sold 3500 tickets so far for the August 21-22 test sessions for Mr. Bud.

Don't know why they would change from this year. Just count back from the start of the Nationals.

If Jr. gets a 360 Nationals ride, this could make him Mr. Sprint Car 2008!
If this post isn't results, stories or something c
constructive, it isn't me!

I think it was P.T. Barnum that once said there is a sucker born every minute... I saw in the R and T that the first day will be very limited track time with the balance on the 2nd day.... Hope lots bought either both or the second day..LOL !!!
I believe that Southern Iowa Sprint Week will be from July 31st-Aug 9th...
