Berck Leads NCRA Late Models to Belleville This Sunday Night!

 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Park City, Kansas – August 26, 2014 - Former two time series champion Kyle Berck of Marquette, Nebraska leads the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products late model division to their annual Labor Day, Sunday (August 31) appearance at the Belleville High Banks in Belleville, Kansas this coming weekend.

Also competing will be the series’ sprint car and modified divisions in an “all NCRA” event. Also, late models utilizing spec heads will also be welcome to compete.

Through the eight events that have been completed thus far this season, Berck has claimed four feature victories, bringing his career total to thirty – 29 behind all time feature winner Kelly Boen. Only other driver to have reached victory lane have been Ryan Gustin (3) and Chase Junghans, who won here at the Belleville High Banks when the series last visited back over the 4th of July weekend.

Berck has a commanding 415 point lead over Jeremy Petty with just two races remaining. Chris Kratzer currently sits third in the standings, followed by Wylan Petrie and Bill Layton.

Gates open Belleville High Banks at 5:00 PM with race time slated for a 7:30 PM start time. The Belleville High Banks is located 2.0 miles north of US 36 on US 81, then 0.4 mile southeast on M St. to 7th St., then 0.1 mile east (near the water tower, at the North Central Kansas Fairgrounds). Grandstand general admission is just $20 for adults and $10 for kids.
