Official Payout and Information for $5000 to win Labor Day Sport Mod Blowout!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Geary, Oklahoma - August 4, 2014 - Payout and entry fee information has been released for the inaugural $5000 to win “Labor Day Sport Mod Blowout” scheduled for Longdale Speedway in Longdale, Oklahoma, to be held on Saturday and Sunday night, August 30-31.
On Friday night, August 29, sport mod drivers who have registered will be eligible to hit the half mile clay oval for practice from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM. The tracks weekly divisions of modifieds, intermediate sport mods, pure stock and stock cars will be competing for regular season points. There will be no race completion for the sport mods on Friday night.
Saturday night will see qualifying and race program for the sport mod blowout consisting of pit crew challenge and lap qualifying. Pit gates will open at 3:00 PM with the racing program scheduled for a 6:00 PM start time. Adult general admission tickets are just $10 while senior and all military with proper ID grandstand tickets just $8. General admission tickets for ages 6-12 are $5 while ages five and under will be admitted free.
There will be a live band performing in the infield immediately following Saturday night’s racing action.
Championship Sunday night will see last chance races that will set up Sunday night’s 100 lap, $5000 to win “Labor Day Sport Mod Blowout.” Pit gates open at 3:00 with racing slated for a 6:00 PM start time. Adult general admission tickets are just $15 while senior and all military with proper ID grandstand tickets just $10. General admission tickets for ages 6-12 are $5 while ages five and under will be admitted free.
Pit passes both nights are $30 or you can get a two day pit pass for just $50.
Early, non refundable, registration is encouraged with registration forms available at the tracks website www.longdalespeedway.net. Early registration ends August 22 and will cost $75. Late registrations after August 22 will be accepted and will cost $100. There will be a $10 transponder fee. All non-qualifier sport mods not making Sunday night’s championship finale will earn $50.
