With Stewart going to the iron man, we are guaranteed a new champion this year. Who wins it and who's your dark horse to make a run?

Depends on what head rules are in place/ which in turn depends on who you are. Just kidding but not really.

Justin Henderson looked rock solid last night, running with and dominating Johnson, Herrera, and Bruce from the ASCS National tour. Loyett may have something for him, but I can't see anyone else beating him.

Kevin Swindell.
More weight, more regulation, more similarity in the
cars.... that will ensure plenty of thrills for years
to come. Only the most average talent behind the
wheel will be needed with such awesome equipment on
the track!

Without stewart i think a regular at knoxville holds the advantage. I want to say Jon Agan but nobody knows knoxville like Lasoski and the Burch 1M is as good of 360 as there is. The Dude is my pick.

There are a # of Knoxville Regulars that have a legit shot at winning with Brown, McCarl, and Henderson at the top of my list.
I'll also put Kevin Swindell, Wayne Johnson and The Dud on watch.
With the number of laps put in the 360 & 410 class this year, how well he times, and his performances during the actual race in each class, I'll bet on Henderson.
If I had to pick a "dark horse" that's not listed above.... Joe Beaver. That Beaver's been bad....fast all year.

@brettco. Ha. Love it. Lots of rule bending going on @ the weekly level, this 14' racing season. Nationals probably no different.

I'd have to say a Knoxville regular or maybe Kevin. Nothing like experience there. The locals have gotten a lot faster the last few years. Not sure if it's motors or what exactly but gone are the days when ASCS could come in and dominate.
The big question is will Knoxville tear down and inspect the heads and actually measure bore and stroke. They could do all 360 racers a favor if they did, did it honestly, and made the results known. And they should go by the rule book in place not just what has became accepted the last few years. Most 360 racers think there are many many illegal motors running every night. Until someone like Knoxville or Little Rock takes enough interest again to actually check and enforce the rules it's just going to get worse. Lord knows ASCS isn't going to do anything about it.

Justin Henderson has to be the favorite going into this years 360 Nationals. Great guy and I think it would be awesome if he could win. I wouldnt count out Lee Grosz to have a good run though either as he has been having a very solid year and always seems to run decent at Knoxville.

Brown or Henderson. The Dude also has a good shot in the Burch 1m.
