Back in May, the Carolina RaceSavers raced for the first time ever at the dying speedway.  The driver's were looking in the stands thinking there weren't that many people there, but the track officials were blessed beyond belief at how many fans showed up.

The owners at Sumter were so happy that they scheduled us again this past weekend.  When we showed up there were thousands of people everywhere.  Standing room only in the grandstands, hardly any room in the pits.  It was an amazing night.

As the drivers were leaving the track at the end of the night, tons of fans were standing along side the road stopping the teams asking for autographs.  It was one of the neatest experiences I have ever witnessed at a dirt track.

Just wanted to share.  So neat to be a big deal in the heart of late model country.

A sprint car friend from PA was visiting his wife's family in Sumter and was really happy when I told him about the Carolina Racesavers going to Sumter.  He had a good time especially meeting the teams.
