I know this guy like's to break all the gossip stories which is fine but if your gonna do it, then do them all.  He is now doing a few press release's also and the BWW team is one team he does them for.  Last week the BWW team fired Crockett in a rude way.  IBRACN reported it right away and also was quick to tell the BWW side of the story.  He then received Crockett's side of the story right from Roger but wouldn't post it. Instead he said he wasn't going to take sides.  I guess if you want to be the guy that breaks every story possible even if they are "rumors" then tell both sides of the story if you have them.  Apparently this guy is in tight with the BWW guys so he is only telling their side of the story.  It would be nice to hear the other side if it is out there.

While he's entitled to run his website however he wants, this seems to be a conflict of interest to me.

Most of these guys are spending more money for hosting than they're taking in from banner ads so it's pretty much a labor of love.  Personally I like his news and rumors section and he makes a clear distinction between rumor and fact.  I'm not huge on gossip (too busy going to races) but if I hear anything and want to find out more that is one place I check.

Rather than give the webmasters heat about how they operate their pages if I find that I don't like a site I'll simply delete the bookmark and stop going there.  Wow, what a concept!!!  wink

This coming from a guy that has 340 post of which 339 are on the topic of Kyle Larson?  Yep, another thread just to irritate you apparently.  Gosh, I am feeling so bad right now.  LMFAO  Thanks once again for your great insight.

Nice 89th post Stroker...before you make #90, I will enlighten you with a few facts.

One, my web site is based on news and rumors.  So I hope you didn't stay up all night trying to figure out the title of this thread.

Two, I've only done one press release in my entire life and yes it was for the BWW team.  I haven't done multiple press releases for anyone.

Three, I was very vague on the reason BWW gave me for the driver change.  If you read into my post then that is on you.  Once I got info from Roger, I was very vague on that one as well, his opinion of the events were the opposite of the BWW team...go figure.  Have you even once thought that specifics were not released by me because both sides requested that?  They both told me specifics and trusted me enough to make a post that would sum it all up without revealing specifics.  There are circumstances involved that you have no idea exists.  Stuff like this sheds a negative light on all involved so what difference does it make about specifics.

Four...you don't know how Roger was fired.  It wasn't in the way posted by so many "experts" on this forum.  A firing is never easy and never a good thing.  Is there a good way to fire people?

Five, if you don't like my web site then don't visit it.  It is that simple.  Trust me, I will not miss the few people that may agree with you...it will not make one bit of difference to me...I know that stings a little but I'm good with what I posted as are Roger and the BWW team.

Lastly, I don't know why this is always such a big deal to you here on Hoseheads.  The BWW team has made it clear that they are having several drivers drive their car.  Not all breakups are bad, evidence by the large number of returners to the seat of this car.  Sam Hafertepe, Jr., Bryan Clauson, Kevin Swindell, Eric Lutz, Scott Winters....all have had multiple stints in this car.  If they are going to a series of 410 races, they hire a 410 driver.  If they are going to a series of 360 races, they hire a 360 driver.  If they are mixing it up, they find a driver that has had success in both.  The drivers know that their time is limited when they get in the car.  The surprise comes from the fans that have not figured that out.  Sure, some end badly like this one did.  But there are many that ended on a positive note.

Like me or hate me, doesn't matter.  This is a well funded team and they are running it the way they want.  What is that so hard for some of you to grasp.

Have a good night....and open fire!

I just added it to my favorites....It's his playground and he can do whatever he wants.  I think he does a good job being neutral most of the time.

Have any of you whiners ever really been involved in a race team?  Didn't think so. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes that you'll never see through your beer goggles but yet you voice your opinion.  That's why they have grandstands.....Wanna be experts have to have a place to sit and bitch from.

Open up your wallet and run a race team....Impress all of us with you decision making abilities.

Ibracin is one of the best sprint car sites around IMO. At least he does not try to pass off rumors as facts like so many posters here do.

Perhaps you missed:

7/20/2014

UPDATE #1 - FACT - (7-20-14 @ 1:40 pm CST) - Roger contacted me over the weekend and explained his side of the story. As expected, his version is a lot different than that of the BWW team. So with all of the drama surrounding this event, differences of opinions on what happened, the negative emails I'm getting...and I'm not going to take sides...the only thing I'm reporting is that Roger Crockett is no longer with the BWW team and no replacement has been named, to my knowledge.

I'm no genius, but Brad sums it up enough......

David

I still don't know what the hell you are talking about.  That story has been long gone off of of my front page.  I think you need to his refresh or something.  Get off of you dial up and get into the broadband.  Where the heck do you see this story about Christopher Bell?  It is on page seven when I look at it.
