NCRA Sprints Invade Butler County This Saturday Night!

 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Park City, Kansas – July 7, 2014 - Jeremy Campbell will lead the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products sprint car division to Butler County Speedway in Rising City, Nebraska this coming Saturday night, July 12, for their second and final appearance of the season. This event will also be co-sanctioned with the Carpetland Nebraska 360 Sprint Car Series.  

The series inaugural visit to the quarter mile clay oval back in early May saw Jack Dover bring home the victory for the “Cornhusker State” over state drivers Tyler Drueke, Stu Snyder and Jordan Boston. Defending tour champion C.J. Johnson of Quinter, Kansas represented the NCRA with a fifth place finish.

Campbell’s lead is just 80 points over Johnson with J.D. Johnson, Jon Freeman, Jeff Stasa, Luke Cranston, Jordan Weaver, Jake Martens, Raymond Seeman and Kris Miller the top ten drivers in the point standings.

Dover leads the tour with two victories thus far this season while Kevin Swindell, Jeff Stasa, Danny Wood, C.J. Johnson and Aaron Reutzel all picking up one feature win a piece. Stasa and Reutzel’s victories were their first ever with the series.

The Carpet Land Nebraska 360 sprint car series are expected to field the likes of Jack Dover, Jason Martin, Ryan Roberts, Dusty Ballenger, Ryan Bickett, Seth Brahmer, Gage Dorr, Tyler Drueke, and Trevor Grossenbacher. Close the thirty drivers from four states are expected to compete for the $2000 first place prize.

Gates open at 5:00 PM with racing scheduled for a 7:00 PM start time. Depending on the direction of your travel, here are you directions to Butler County Speedway:

From Omaha- Hwy 92 West for 56 miles, turn right on Hwy 81 North for 7 miles, turn right on Road 38 for 2 miles and then turn right on Road C south for 1/2 mile.

From Lincoln-34 West till you hit Hwy 15 North until you hit Hwy 92 West, 92 West for 14 miles, turn right on Hwy 81 North for 7 miles, turn right on Road 38 for 2 miles and then turn right on Road C south for 1/2 mile.

From York or I-80- Hwy 81 North for 32 miles thru towns of Stromsburg, Osceola and Shelby, turn right on Road 38 for 2 miles, then turn right on Road C south for 1/2 mile.

From Columbus-Hwy 81 South for 10 miles, turn on Road 38 for 2 miles, turn right on Road C south for 1/2 mile.
