NCRA Late Models Invade Junction Motor Speedway This Saturday Night!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Park City, Kansas – July 7, 2014 - Current point leader Kyle Berck of Marquette, Nebraska leads the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products late model series to Junction Motor Speedway in McCool, Nebraska this coming Saturday night, July 12, for their first of three appearances on the 2014 race season. The night will also be a tune up, of sorts, for the annual “King of the Hill” Late Model Shootout in early August.
Berck has claimed two feature victories thus far this season, including this past Friday night at 81 Speedway. This, coupled with a second place finish at the Belleville High Banks this past Saturday night, has him the driver to beat this coming weekend.
Haysville, Kansas driver Chris Kratzer can’t be over looked as consistency has him just 75 points behind Berck in the standings. Jeremy Petty, Wylan Petrie, Gary Gorby, Scott Phillips and Dean Moore are just a sampling of out of state driver expected to go head to head against a strong contingent of Nebraska gladiators of the late model division. Among them include Bill Leighton Jr. and Sr., Tad Pospisil, Andrew Kosiski, Scott Koskovich, Steve Kempt, Chris Avery, Justin Gregg, Junior Coover and Dan Battaglia.
Pit gates open at 4:00 PM; Grandstands at 5:00 PM: Hot Laps at 6:00 PM with racing set for a 7:00 PM start time. Adult general admission is $15; $5 for kids ages 6-12 and kids 5 and under admitted free. Pit passes are $20 for NASCAR license and $30 with no NASCAR license.
