Tulsa Oklahoma (July 3, 2014) – This edition of the Oil Capital Racing Series ‘Manufactures Performance Rankings’ comes with a sponsorship announcement as the nations newest racing website sensation, Sprintdudes.com will now assume the role of title sponsorship of the OCRS MPR Rankings through the rest of the season.
Sprintdudes.com is created by Fred Stahl of Farmdale Ohio. Sprintdudes.com began working with OCRS at the beginning of the season as they supply updated fliers detailing the current point standings for the fans that attend each OCRS event. Fans can also score along with the 13yr old series as the flier also has a score sheet on the opposite side where they can write in the night’s line-ups and results.
Stahl answered the call for sponsorship of the OCRS MPR Rankings and OCRS is extremely grateful to work with Sprintdudes.com on this program. Sprintdudes.com offers general sprint car news, race results, driver press releases and track updates. If you haven’t visited their site yet, you owe it yourself to check it out. The newest Sprintdudes.com MPR rankings show that Eagle Motorsports still holds the top spot in the chassis category while STK Racing Engines continues to do the same in the motor builder department. Current OCRS point leader Danny Smith notched his first victory of the year in a non-wing affair last Saturday night at the newly named South Coffeyville Speedway (formerly Mid-America Speedway). In doing so, Smith gave Dyno Services of Oklahoma their first sprint win of 2014 while his F5 Twister creation gets its first score also.
DSO had three cars in the top five. Smith (1st), David Stephenson (3rd) and Tim Kent (5th). Stevenson also earned the AmeriFlex Hose & Accessories ‘Hard Charger’ of the night.
Alex DeCamp, a two time winner in2014, gave Eagle and STK solid MPR points with his second place run last week to aide their respective top spots. With a bakers dozen left on the OCRS schedule, the battle for these positions loom large and may very well go down to the wire. Here are the Sprindudes.com MPR Rankings through June 27, 2014:

MPR points are awarded on a 5-4-3-2-1 point scale based on the top five A-Feature finishers. Only the highest finishing result per manufacture in the chassis and engine categories per event are awarded MPR points. For example, if brand X has two or more cars in the top five of the A-feature, MPR points are only awarded to the highest brands finisher for each category.
