Southern Oklahoma Speedway Racing and Fireworks This Saturday Night!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Geary, Oklahoma – July 2, 2014 - Make your plans now to attend Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore, Oklahoma this coming Saturday night, July 5, as the track will not only be hosting weekly dirt track racing but a huge fireworks display following the races.
Drivers in the tracks weekly divisions of modiifeds; limited modifieds; late models, hobby stocks and stock cars will continue their season long point battle for the 2014 track championship in their respective divisions. Only eight point races remain on the schedule with several special events still yet to come.
Don’t forget, next Friday and Saturday night, July 11-12, at Southern Oklahoma Speedway it will be Monster Trucks invading the big three-eighths mile clay oval along with something new to the speedway – tuff trucks. Hobby stocks and limited modifieds will also be competing on Friday night while the stock cars, late models and modifieds will be competing on Saturday night.
Gates open at 5:00, hot laps begin at 6:30 and racing starts at 7:30. Ticket prices are $12 for adults; $8 for kids ages 6-12, $8 for seniors and children ages 5 and under will be admitted for free. Pit passes are $25.
