Southern Oklahoma Speedway Set to Host USMTS This Saturday Night!

 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Geary, Oklahoma – June 24, 2014 - Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore, Oklahoma is set to host their last United States Modified Touring Series event of the year this coming Saturday night, June 28, as the tour makes their second appearance of the at  the three-eighths mile clay oval.

Just one month ago in their last appearance at John and Nicky Webb owned track, 47 drivers were on hand with New Mexico’s Stormy Scott taking the hard fought victory.

Over forty of the top modified drivers in a seven state area are once expected to compete on one of the favorite stops on the tour. Among them include the above mentioned Johnny and Stormy Scott, Sanders, Kelly Shryock, Cade Dilliard, Clyde Dunn, Jr., Joe Duvall, Dereck Ramirez, Bobby Malchus, Bryan Rowland, Grant Junghans and many more.

Gates open at 5:00, hot laps begin at 6:30 and racing starts at 7:30. Ticket prices are $20 for adult ages 13 and up; $15 for seniors and kids ages 6-12, and children ages 5 and under are free. Pit passes are $35. Support classes include Limited Modifieds and hobby stocks.
