Added Money by 81 Speedway Partner Pleases Drivers!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Park City, Kansas – June 9, 2014 - It was yet another memorable night for drivers who competed at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas this past Saturday night as track sponsor Mel Hambelton Ford gave all ninety drivers, who competed in heat race action, a little extra bonus.
Normally, weekly competitors at the famed three-eighths mile dirt track get paid according to where they finish in the nights feature finale in their division. And for the second time this season, Mel Hambelton Ford passed out heat race money, this time totaling $3500, and was distributed as follows: Ten drivers, $100; twenty drivers, $50 and sixty drivers, $25. Back in May they surprised drivers by distributing $25 to each driver who competed in heat races totaling $2500.
Officials, staff and drivers at 81 Speedway would like to thank Mel Hambelton Ford for their partnership and involvement with the speedway thus far during the 2014 race season and look for more exciting partnership ideas in the near future.
