Heat Race Money, Public Safety Night at More at 81 Speedway Saturday Night!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Geary, Oklahoma – June 2, 2014 - The second Mel Hambelton Ford “cash for heats night” of the season will be taken place this coming Saturday night, June 7, at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas as new track sponsor continues to get heavily involved at the three-eighths mile clay oval. There is also a chance for some lucky race fan getting a free helicopter ride to the speedway and a night where we all recognize fire and safety personnel.
All drivers competing in qualifying heat races in the tracks weekly divisions of; 360 sprint cars, modifieds, AAA modifieds, rookie modifieds, street stocks, thumpers and hornets will receive a “minimum” of $25, courtesy of Mel Hambelton Ford.
For race fans it will also be “Bleacher Creature” night at the speedway where you will be able to register to arrive at 81 Speedway, via the Mel Hambelton Ford helicopter, for the big Thursday night, June 19th NCRA vs. USMTS modified event. One lucky fan will also receive free race tickets and a “Track Pack” from Mel Hambelton Ford and 81 Speedway.
And the excitement is not done yet as the night will also be “Public Safety Night” with all EMS, Police, Fire and Sheriff personnel showing their badge or ID at the ticket office receiving two adult and two children general admission tickets FREE!
Gates will open at 5:00 PM with racing slated for a 7:00 PM start time.
