There are only three people that make out on tire rules. More specifically brand rules.
The tire company, series, and track promoter.

Best thing they could do is make it an open tire rule from a racers stand point. Tire companies competing for business = reduced tire cost for teams, alot of companies would give deals to more drivers to get them to run their tire. buttttttttt track promoters and series would miss out on alllll that kickback money. Make a duromter rule and let em run whatever brand they want

So, you're saying it's a business decision? Those BASTARDS! I thought this whole time these race series, the track promoters and the tire companies were doing this STRICTLY for my entertainment! But now you're telling me they want to make money while they're at it? Thought this was just a weekend hobby thing for them.
Maybe I'll stop watching racing and just concentrate on sports like Hockey, Baseball, Football and Basketball. The owners and promotors of those sports aren't interested in making a buck off me--just giving me good, cheap entertainment.
(and before some dip$hit thinks this post was to be taken literally--it was sarcasm--just have to cover your a$$ on this forum--for some reason folks on here can't tell the difference!)

Talked with Aaron last night for a couple hours during the racing at WRP. Lots of good things for both fans and racers coming.
