I Sure wish The World Of Outlaws would Scrap The Time Trials & Dashs

& Go To a Pill Draw For Heat Races, Handycap the Heat race Finishers on last 3 Races Money Earned, Lining up the feature & B main cars tag the A on how they finish from the B 

& Give Them a RACE TRACK to RACE ON come Feature time AFTER ALL Its The FEATURE RACE EVERYONE COMES TO SEE

they just use up the race track running extra Time Trial Laps & The Extra Dash Laps

GUARANTEE You More Teams would show up at the races

The Time Trials ONLY BENEFIT THE HIGH DOLLAR TEAMS, Give the little Teams a chance & Make the Heat races More Interesting, having to actually pass cars to qualify for the A Main

NO BETTER RACING then Regular Night races  handicapped on money won in last 3 races Won 

Their not gonna drop time trials! 

Most local shows don't run time trials because they don't have time because their running 4 or more classes. When the Outlaws are racing they only have 1 support class usually.

Why?  So you can get home sooner?  They have been having large fan turn outs this year, so why would you change it?  People that think drawing for numbers is the thing to do, then you see the point leader for some reason is on a roll and draws front row starts week after week.  I have seen it.

I don't know what the answer really is, but if you can make winged sprint car heats more interesting, then I'm all for it! 

have a "stacked field" like they have at Knoxville this season and you see great heat races (invert 6 take 5 and a good car (or 2 or 3) is always on the outside looking in for a transfer spot and those running 4th or 5th are always clamoring to get farther ahead knowing there are good cars behind them.

I don't see this ever happening but I sure wish they would do something.  The races are less than desirable...

in essence there is a pill draw,  for your Qualifiying order that is , Ive always kinda enjoyed TT, its what makes a sprint show different than door cars, sure some places become a yawner, and the big $$ teams seem to rule the Qualifying, But the scream of 410's at full song .. there just isnt anything like it, I believe AU uses a two heat type qualifying, intresting to see how that works for popular teams and less funded teams to be semi competitive with each other, Either way I would be deeply saddened to see the TT disapear, maybe im strange?, i enjoy them, it creates the story for the night on how ones driver started thier night,  I do wish however that not so much weight would be handed in your TT position, our local shows utilize passing points, in hinesight there has to be a reward for running good earlie in the night,  your product could be lined with a bunch of brake pedal pencil pushers, nobody wants that..  Im not 100% sure i like the majority of the local stockcar qualifying or lack there of , with that in mind the flow of the show is proubly key, WoO your dealing with the most professional show you will see on dirt, everyone deserves the chance to get to the front the soonest...

sorry my post was a bit off target, im just replying to the cons of Pill draw position for heats, like stated earlier the draw can start to go in favor of the strong cars night after night, its just nature of the beast and i gues some guys have no luck on the fate of a # (how well I kno), the more i think about this the visiting ive done with Aussies at thier Meets seem to have a fair qualifying selection, i believe there is a invert and average of your positions finished, pretty uniqe and simple actually, now you might have to sit thro tandem heats,  i say scrap the support classes in that case.

been watching time trials for longer than i "TRY" to remember.  just seems to be an integral part of the show for set up, tires..........

Ascot was the greatest of all time..

Attica's format for qualifying/heat race is perfect. 

Draw pill for heat, qualify with your heat race, invert 4, top 4 transfer, top 2 redraw for feature.
