At least up front at the Grove tonite, Y A W N....

Congrats to Darryn for winning but he won his Heat, the Dash and the A-Main without having to pass a car, dang!

A couple of very tough hits for Steve K. and Mr. Hodnett, glad to see they were both okay!

The Grove sure ain't what I remember, how much time before it becomes a bigger Amusement Park?

Luke and The Donald had a hell of a battle going on for 2nd all race.

Though it allowed Pittman to pull away, and once he got around Kinser, it was over.   The 69K and 1Z were too busy battling each other to get through lapped traffic.

Much better than Friday's showing.   That was damned near Hagerstrain-esque.

Couldn't agree more.  Has to be the most overrated track in the country

Kinser's bent parts were on Bent Parts...Hogneck did that to himself...Both are physically okay, the cars, not so much...

For the second night in a row, Pittman moved to the bottom on lap 3 and the challengers soon followed.

good run by Lycas who did try the top for a few more laps.

as Donny Schatz predicted in VL Friday, the track was almost the same as the previous night...eith wuicler lap times

The 27 might have been better served to let the 51s pass and not try to block the outside lane...but glad he climbed from the car.

we walked over to the point of impact we the rail...the wood support was broken by the impact.

did an EPA regulation on watering a racetrack kick in and we missed the headline?

People always complain about no passing but I'm the only guy that complains about the cause. If everyone didnt run the identical stuff there would be passing.  It's amazing there is any passing at all. A difference in speed is needed for a pass. Note the word difference.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Pittman was on the bottom from the beginning because krietz was behind him. Wolfe went around Krietz on the outside and as noted they had a good battle. Was a decent night, let's not pretend it's much better for a local show.

If Pittman started 6th could he have won....... No.....   It's front row bullshit and the outlaws suck and will until they make changes to the cars to free them up. Hopefully Schatz starts deep at Knoxville again this year so we can see one race this year anyways.

Outlaws continue to win across the country. Hope the Attica boys can pick up a W. Just 4 drivers to beat the WoO this year. And 1 of those in Shane Stewart who's on the tour next year. Excluding him, the other 3 all won on tracks 3/8th or smaller - horsepower kills.

Thats why I will go to a ASCS race long before a WoO show. They acctually have to PASS someone to win a race.

Had Kreitz won this same race, you would (and have) said this was as ass kicking by the possee. You cant have it both ways, you hack.

It wasn't the greatest sprint car race I've ever been to but it wasn't the worst either. Wolfe had the fastest car and challenged Pittman for a few laps. I think if he had stayed committed to the top in 1-2 , he probably would have won. He and Kreitz were on Pittman's tail when they got to lapped traffic which Pittman handled with ease while Wolfe and Kreitz struggled a bit with the lapped cars. Kreitz was able to sneak back by Wolfe to finish 2nd. Stevie and Schatz had a good race for 4th and Blaney finished right behind them riding the topside all night. Pittman is arguably the best in the biz right now so we all knew he was gonna be tough to beat from the pole. He was also smart enough to know his biggest challenge was probably gonna come from Kreitz on the bottom so he stayed glued there the whole race. I left a little disappointed that a PA car didn't win but I was satisfied with the racing product.

I didn't go Friday and from the sounds of it, made the right decision.

This is post of the year!. . Ascs. Half the tix cost. . Plenty of  car passing. .  yes a lot of it does have to do with track prep which kville should hold a class on and should be mandatory if you run a dirt track  . .

Not sure which local races you were attending where the field ran the bottom two nights in a row?

Let's not pretend every teack has dismal conditions as we witnessed this weekend.

can the WoO afford to have CBS broadcast races this crappy?

Was it "front row bullshit" last year when Freddie won the National Open?

thinking .............. were you speaking of the NY WOO last night or of 90% or more of the regular WOO A-mains "greatest show on dirt?

.... smaller right rear & wings to unlock these locked locked down slot cars thus enabling drivers with larger gonads to "get if on"

.... help us Mikey. With all your stroke all it would take is one phone call!

......the today's Winged Warriors remind alot of the Wedge Late models of the 80's

Looks like David Gravel knew how to pass, he claimed hard charger 2 nights without the help of Nascar!
