I'm not going to comment on what did / did not happen to Tim because I'm man enough to admit that I simply do not know but I am very curious what you ment when you said that what Kevin said about Brent is "bs". If you aren't referring to what Kevin said about Rat and his efforts on Brent's behalf over the past 3 decades (which apparently are still ongoing) then I will say I'm sorry in advance. That's the only thing Kevin referred to that could even be considered for a debate that I could find and for most that debate has been over for at least two decades. There is enough witness testimony and video evidence to put that debate to bed very quickly. Again - if that's not it please fill us in because even to suggest at this point that Rat hasn't been in Brent's pocket  any time he is in the role of official and Brent is competing is the real "bs". Kevin's column for reference:

Thread killer, I have no idea who you are and I am the last person to jump to Brent Kaedings defense... No, really I am... But, to say the Mike has cheated for Brent is just stupid... Brent has more than proven that he could and still can still win a sprint car race and not now nor has he ever needed anyone to cheat for him.... Having known first hand how hard Brent has worked to get where he is in sprint car racing... If you wasn't to look at friendships and " back pockets" you could say the same thing about Steve Kinser and Ted Johnson...

Totally agree with the Ted Johnson and Steve Kinser comparison. As for Brent, you're not suggesting that he has "never" been the beneficiary of favored officiating are you? I have a huge respect for the entire Kaeding family and still I'm realistic enough to see the truth. The thing about trying to spin history in things like racing is that there are thousands of witnesses to what goes on.

Cheers!

I'm pretty sure I said he never "cheated " for him...  To say no one has ever benefited from a less than perfect Call would make me stupid.... For anyone to think it's only happened to one driver well ..... You can figure that out.....

The incident Eckert refers to at Tulare shows  BK on a restart (lap 18) clearly jumping

the row ahead of him  (can be seen on Jackslash). The lap was never completed because of a crash.

When Andretta (race official)  was questioned during the red he had many differnt answers. First he said

he didn't see it, then he said BK was suppose to be in 6th. He then said it was a spilt red. The rule reads

if the top 3 cars complete the lap then the lap stands. Hirst was runinng third and he said he saw the yellow.

During the red they had a good 15 minutes to make it right and never did.

I know you have always kept it "real" when it comes to all things Brent which is one of the many things I like about you :-). This is why on this topic I have to assume it's something you missed. It's possible because you have a lot of things going on and competing for  your attention. So ask around on the topic. There are plenty of people that both of us know who can provide their input on the topic and if you don't find anyone else who believes the same you can give me all the shit you want about it at Trophy Cup because that is probably the next time we will see eachother. It's been going on so long it doesn't even get my dander up any more and I think that is the way a lot of people feel about it. It's just the way it is at this point. You either live with it or you find something else to do with your time.

After reading Kevins blog...All my S Cali friends back in the day knew damn well not to get caught holding in Texas and I still say, "don't have to, don't want to, can't make me go to Texas!"

Your comment had nothing to do with the OP's thread, end of discussion. You are hijacking a thread with your comments. There is already a thread discussion your topic.

Thought you said "end of discussion", but no, you just had to mouth off some more. Like I said, Texas was discussed on Kevin's blog that was suggested and it made me think of that instead of this bullshit about nothing.. So, just what did you have to say about this conspiracy theory or did I make you lose your train of thought?

Yes, but this thread was about the mentioned perceived favortism BK might have received over the years by 1 particular race director. it had nothing to do with TK, other than sharing the similarity of blog that both were mentioned in. To mention anything related to the TK's issues is irrelevant here. Its a good discussion the OP brought up and has nothing to do with TK. Your attempt to hijack this thread has failed.

And your attempt to make a mountain out of a mole hill and be much more disruptive than I to this thread is a success, congratulations..... Again, just what enlightening thoughts did you have for us on this subject to get us back on track? Don't think I mentioned TK, just a thought about Texas... If fact I haven't joined in on any of the bullshit about TK on here, and you?

And now that Brent is part of that new deal up in Northern Cali, I'm sure he'll pass on the tradition in some way on that level himself.

Seems like some people need to either stay away from the race track or get involved as officials maybe even promoters or hell buy or build your own track............

Favoritism on many levels has always been a part of Auto racing, from giving more time to the "favorite" home town driver to get back on the track after a incident, to overlooking crap pulled on the track. Some might say "show up" money too, though it's not that common today, is also a form of favoritism......It happens from short dirt tracks to the big super speedways and in all sanctioning body's, but hey, the Keadings have made it because their winners in most every aspect of our sport.
