As one who is now going through cancer for the second time I am moved by stories like this.  I pray for a full recovery for her!

I've always thought Shawna Robinson was the best female to drive in NASCAR.  She was really good.  Wonder what she thinks of the current marketing machine driving the number 10?

For the circumstances for what they are, this is a GREAT read! First time I saw Shawna was at the Tulsa Speedway fairgrounds racetrack in the 80's where she was racing "semi-trucks" in her fathers touring semi- truck racing series. I got to interview her for the racing program and though how cool this attractive (then teenager) was racing these things. As she kept climbing the ladder in racing, I would reflect seeing her in Tulsa using her small figure to wrestle those large trucks around the track.

  I had the privelege also of watching Shawna in Tulsa also as well as NASCAR.  Carole & I will also pray for her.  I know what it is like and hope she makes a full recovery.
