We have scheduled twelve* (12) races in the 2014 chase for the Minnesota Mafia Point Fund presented by CEEC, Inc. The rules are simple:
•Nightly race rules and scoring will be dictated by the participating track or sanctioning body.
•We will count ALL twelve (12) race finishes. NO throw-outs.
•Drivers must participate in nine (9) of the twelve (12) races to be eligible for the Point Fund and year-long contingencies.
•Nightly prizes and awards will be available to ALL Drivers attending.
•Must run our sticker each night to get points or awards. Stickers will be provided free of charge each race night.
•The top twelve (12) in points after all races are run will be eligible for our Point Fund money.
•Scoring:
Finish: 50pts for 1st, 49pts for 2nd, 48pts for 3rd, etc. The first non-qualifer will receive 5pts less than the last place finisher in the A and will decrease 1pt for every place after.
Heats: 3pts for 1st, 2pts for 2nd, 1pt for 3rd
Yearly Point Fund Payout and Awards:
1. $2200
2. $1800
3. $1600
4. $1450
5. $1250
6. $1150
7. $1050
8. $1000
9. $950
10. $900
11. $850
12. $800
*Barb Wieskus Memorial Hard Charger Award: $2000 to the driver who passes the most cars during the features (judged by official starting lineup and finishing spots, not necessarily where a driver takes the green flag).
*Shell Shock Award: A free helmet paint job from Noah Ennis and Shell Shock Designs for the driver with the most heat race finishing points.
*Maxim Award: $500 off any purchase at Maxim Chassis for the highest finishing Maxim Chassis in our Point Fund.
*Sportsman Award presented by Advanced Contracting Solutions, LLC.: $250 Cash awarded to the Sportsman of the Year. Nominated by the Mafia each night and voted on by the drivers in the Point Fund.
Nightly Awards:
•Hard Charger Award: $150 Cash from the Barb Wieskus Family and Sadusky Real Estate. $50 Gift Certificate from Saldana Racing Products.
•Tough Luck Award: $150 Cash from Jackson Sports, Kemna Auto Group and Jack Voss. $50 Gift Certificate from Keizer wheels.
•Long Haul Award: $100 Cash from Dvorak Trucking. $50 Gift Certificate from Pyrotect Racing Cells.
•Next Level Award: Discount on purchase of Factory Kahne shocks from Hummel’s FK.

June 27th Rapid Speedway: Rock Rapids, IA (360 Special)
July 11th TBA*
July 18th Fairmont Raceway: Fairmont, MN (JSTS Speedweek)

Is the Rock Rapids date of May 23rd right. The track website and Facebook page make it look like May 30th. The ASCS Midwest region has a race on the 23rd at McCool Junction, NE. Just liking plans for the season and wanted to confirm some dates. Thanks.

I guess i still dont understand why we cant get both 360 series in MN to work together, not have conflicting shedules and have the best racers in the area racing eachother. I am almost positive the MN Mafia has tried but why is the UMSS so against trying to make the best racing possible.

Rock Rapids is the 1st night of the 3 night Loren Barstad Memorial races over Memorial Day weekend.
