I'm in Monterey working and was thinking about goin to Ocean next week. Can someone give some insight on car count and quality of cars in winged and non winged divisions? Thanks.

Winged racing will be good.

My guess 25 cars.

Allard, Tarlton, Golobic, Sanders, Furr. Maybe Kaeding, Tiner, Netto, Scelzi.

Non wing you never know could be between 8-15 cars

it will be the opening night for the winged taco bravo series and there should be a good turnout. a 30 + car field is more likely than not. as far as quality of cars and drivers you will see some of the best the state has to offer. the series is very competitive and the racing is always good. it is still early in the year, so the possibility of a chill after dark is going to be there. that's a nice way of saying make sure you are at least prepared to bundle a bit.

if you are a sprint car fan, i doubt you would regret going.

to indy and beyond!!
