Spring Fling Opens Oklahoma Sports Park This Weekend!

 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma - April 9, 2014 - Another race season is upon us and what has been the case for years, drivers and fans are gearing up for the annual “Spring Fling” that will officially kick off the 2014 race season at Oklahoma Sports Park in Ada, Oklahoma this coming Friday and Saturday night.

It all kicks off on Friday night for the modified, sport mod, factory stock and pro-street divisions with heat races and feature events for all divisions.

Then on Saturday night the new Wingless Oklahoma Warriors sprint car tour will join the above mentioned divisions for a complete show.

Heat races for all divisions will once again be run with championship features crowing “Spring Fling” champions in all divisions. The modified division will pay $1000 to win and $150 to start with a with a $100 entry fee that includes driver pit passes both nights; sport mods and the pro/street both compete for $750 to win and $75 to start with a $90 entry fee that includes driver pit passes both nights; factory stocks will compete for $500 to win and $75 to start with a $80 entry fee that includes driver pit passes.

Drivers will be paid 25% payout on Friday night and 75% of the payout on championship Saturday night. Complete pay scale can be found at www.oklahomasportspark.com

The WOW sprinters will see that night’s feature winner earn $400 with a $60 entry fee that includes driver pit passes.   

Adult general admission is just $10 on Friday night; ages 11-15 $8 and kids 10 and under admitted free. Saturday night adult general admission is $15; $12 for ages 11-15 and ages ten and under admitted free. Gates open both nights at 5:00 PM with a 7:30 PM race time.

Pit passes are $30 each night.
