The weather "dud" says 50% chance of rain there today and as of 8:30 AM areas nearby are reporting rain.
If you are in Calistoga could you please give us a report?

They worked all day yesterday on the track, with Rico driving a Sheep's Foot roller. A little rain early this morning, but the sun is peeking through the clouds now. Porta Potties got here.

The "dud" shows favorable conditions for tomorrow and Sunday but was just wondering about today. It can get bad quickly at that track if they get too much rain!
Just got an email from DIRTVISION but I will "pass" on their offer.

IF this were a Friday / Saturday show (which it should be since Monday is not a holiday) I would be worried. Since it is a Saturday / Sunday event and they have been able to work on the facility most of the week they will be fine. I can't go so I don't have a dog in the fight but I do know the determination of the people involved with this show so I know they are pulling out all the stops.

I headed from Dallas to Calistoga tomorrow morning....The forecast looks great, but I'm looking for it to be pretty soggy.

Calistoga is in the Napa Valley, surrounded by Wineries and smaller towns. Very scenic all throughout the valley, but especially at the track. Not really in the sticks, but definitely a small town, with lots of history.
