Whether you like the WOO or not, the Grove Open is easily the #1 must see race in central PA IMO. #2 would be the Tuscarora 50, just something about the fair atmosphere and a 50 lap sprint race in a rustic little town that's like a time -warp. #3 I'd go with the speedweek opener @Lincoln.

Lincoln Speed Week show over Mitch Smith Memorial, interesting.

Catch the nonwing guys on Eldora or Terre Haute - they can be just as good on a big track too.  That said, nothing better than nonwing on a bullring!

Yea, I really want to get out to Indiana again, preferably Sprint Week, or maybe Midget week, or Kokomo Smackdown. I spend the summer on the East Coast & Indiana is realistically a 2 day drive for me, which makes it tricky. My one Haubstadt race was on the way to Nationals & then back home to Colorado. (Was hoping to win the Lotto so I could fly everywhere...)

Oh yea this is about Pa......went to 3 Speedweeks & it was cool (except Hagerstown, but thats Maryland.....) But by far the best was WG National Open the year Sammy won. Wish I could have made it last year for Fast Freddy's win... lets hear it for the old farts!

If you have the time, the money and your blood pressure medicine, July 11, July 12 and July 13, USAC at Gas City, Kokomo and Lawrenceburg.

Yeah it's Gobrecht memorial now and there just seems to be a special atmosphere to the night. The Lincoln shows are my favorite speedweek races for some reason. Maybe because it's one of my favorite tracks and I only get down there a few times a year.

Without a doubt the raciest track in central PA. Great facility too although the restrooms could use an upgrade to at least the 20th century. Being a guy I don't care too much but my girlfriend does.

I've always found the parking lot to be more sanitary than the restrooms... :/

All  of these shows are good ,but USAC  shows  are excellent ,  not to take anything from our local drivers .The problem is that the WoO has too much say in the rules  in winged racing  ,we need to stand on our own ,we don't need the so -called  World racing group ,as they don't care about  our fans .I ask you what  has WoO DONE FOR YOU LATELY .
