Spring Nationals for New Longdale Speedway This Weekend!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma – March 24, 2014 - The long awaited anticipation will come to an end this Saturday and Sunday afternoon, March 29-30, as the grand opening of the new Longdale Speedway in Longdale, Oklahoma will kick off their inaugural season with the “Spring Nationals presented by Lucky Star Casino with a special two day format and an appearance by cable network Discovery Channels own Street Outlaws personalities.
Action on the big half mile track will start on Saturday night and will see heat races and features run in the tracks modified, sport mod, stock car and pure stock divisions with the top five finishers in each divisions feature finale locked into Sunday evening’s Spring Nationals” feature finale.
Also on Saturday night, fans will be treated to an appearance by two of the stars from the hit television show Street Outlaws as Farm Truck and Azn will be on hand to sign autographs and have their memorabilia on hand.
On Sunday afternoon another complete show of heat races and features will be run for all the above mentioned divisions with an inaugural “Sprint Nationals” champion to be crowned.
Gates open at 1:00 PM both days with racing slated for a 4:00 PM start time.
The regular weekly payout will be in effect for both shows and can be found on the tracks official website www.longdalespeedway.net. Longdale Speedway is located a quarter mile south of the city of Longdale on highway 58.
