I see where he FTQ at Bristol.
Wish he would come back to sprints.
Don't know if it is true but someone said he was acting as a spotter for Ryan.

sad fact is you can make more $$$ as start and park in nascar than full time in sprints.

You gotta wonder how long this team will last with zero $ in winnings after four races.
But I imagine Dave still wants to spend his weekends with Ryan.

after missing out on the 500, it's pretty obvious they are going to struggle to make races. Dave's been a good restrictor plate driver and a good qualifier. So if he can't do it, not sure who can that doesn't have a job. He probably is helping ryan in ways, but he expressed interest in driving full-time nationwide or truck.
He claimed they were going to run more Sprint Car races this season. I think once racing picks up East of the Mississippi we will see more of the 98h this year. He acted as if the Nationals was a high possibility after the start in Florida on wing nation.
I just figure he didnt think it was worth it to haul the car out to Vegas
