Here in western Pa we have a sprint car that has been owned and raced by Martha Dionise for over 40 consecutive years. In the early years Martha and her husband Bob owned the car. After he passed Martha continued to field the car. She is a hands on owner active in maintaining the car. It is a winner too. Scott Priester won a feature at Mercer last year in the Martha Dionise #15. Are there any other active sprint car teams in the country that have been raced by same owner for over 40 consecutive years?

Thats the car Lee Grosz drives huh. I read LoneWolf and thought it was interesting that Doug drove for a car owner that was a farmer from outside of Fargo but I didn't figure the guy still was an active owner, to tell you the truth I just assumed him and his wife had passed away, thats cool, next time I see Lee Grosz race somewhere I'll have to make note of that.

I belive back in the day the Howels car would carry a white body, now currently black, and for some time , but, almost (since i can remember) always a yellow wing with red number, its funney how a owners personal color taste will find its way through the years, Howels car would be the pigon shit car he spoke of in the book and was quite successfull in it. amazing how fast that shit makes a car

Paul Hazen is going on his 57th season of racing. The #57 will be run in Indiana with Chad Boespflug at the helm. Good young shoe. They knocked off a USAC National victory together last year. Best of luck to them!
Real race cars don't have fenders...

The first person I thought of: Gil Sonner and the 47 car at Knoxville for more than 40 consecutive years.
