looking at race monitor, brown is not listed in the LCS. if he was in the dash, he had no reason to run the LCS, no matter what. he was already in the main. he had the option to bring down a spare car and start in the back of the main. i guess he didn't do that.

Usually if I didn't win a race it was because of the stupid wind.

There was a lot comments on twitter last night about the wind.   I  beleive that took a longer intermission just to let the wind calm down, and some of the drivers thought that they should have waited longer.

the wind picked the car up and threw it into the wall. your smart ass remark is unjustified.

Listen to the post race interviews Brettco http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAj2lfj00as&list=UUld8e8p_u1EUSfqX-b_4JMA Madsen says cars were hard to control in the dash, wind was blowing hard as you could imagine straight from turns 1-2 towards 3-4 right where Brown was blown into the fence, ask Steve what the wind can do to these cars with those big wings on, these aren't stock cars.

Sorry. I didn't realize the wind picked the car up and threw it into the wall. I'm glad no one else had their car picked up and thrown into the wall too.

Looked like the wind got under the wing since the left sideboard is higher. He went into turn 3 normaly and suddenly the left side tires came off the track a little and he went almost sideways into the wall. The track was slick and with a light cushion so it was not just a bicycle like we often see.  Mchahon also flipped at the same time but did not see his so I do not know what caused his but he did complain later on twitter about the high winds.

The impact sheard off the right front wheel instantly on impact. Brian said almost nothing on the car was reusable.

Brian was running the cushion, when the wind gust hit him he didn't have far to go before he was on the wall since he was running close to it already. Ride a motorcycle on a windy day and see how quick it will blow you onto the shoulder or into the other lane if your not real carefull.

Since he had qualified for the feature, he was paid the place after the B main cars that qualified for the A.

At Las Cruces in 2011 the wind kicked up suddenly during an ASCS show. The wind was so hard that it blew an entire heat race full of cars over the turn 3 bank. They had to stop the show for a couple of hours until it died down. Those desert winds can be unbelievable.

so since brown scratched in the A they must have taken herrera who finished seventh in the LCS, as the next transfer, and paid brown for the first non transfer LCS position.

You are correct Johnny said they were taking Herrera because of Brown Scratching from the main.
