I just read that Brian Brown will open his shop to Cole Wood and they will both share his shop this season. I don`t know of to many other teams or car owners that would do something like this. I know alot of info may get shared at the track but to open your shop up to this fine young driver so he can be closer to the action here in the mid-west. I think it says alot about Brian...Chad and the rest of his team.

The article didn`t say anything about money changing hands...thats between them. I just thought I would share it with you guys and girls. I to think it was a good gesture on Brians part.

Kyle Hirst moved to Missouri in like 2009 and worked out of Hocketts shop that year. Hockett lived with Casey Shuman a couple years before that the first year he went and did the whole USAC season. There is tons of this stuff happening all around the country every season that never gets publicized, and regardless of wether or not any money changes hands it still speaks to the general character and brotherhood in the sport. Sure it's risky to have a competitor right beside you watching every move you make..and yes it's exceptionally risky to give somebody a key to your 6 figure investment... but the flip side is that you get to trash talk him all week in person after you blow his doors off at the track..hahaha
Loose is when you hit the wall with the rear of the
car, tight is when you hit the wall with the front of
the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and
torque is how far you move the wall.

This reminds me of what Don Kreitz Jr has been doing for Ryan Smith in Central Pa...It's good to see the older generation giving back...
Opinions may vary...

I thought Rocky Mount sounded familiar when I read this so I checked on Google Maps. There is a wonderful camp for handicapped children just over a mile from there that was built by the Missouri Jaycees. I spent several work weekends there during my Jaycee days.
