I listened to Kevin Harvick's interview from last year when he went off on the Dillon boys for being spoiled brats who have been fed with a silver spoon.  But then, after watching Smoke run a good race with a 65% leg, and stay on the lead lap, I see at the bottom of the ticker "Tiger Woods withdrawls after 13 holes with back spasms".   I know what back spasms feel like--but is there a bigger pu$$y in the sports world than that guy?  I hear of race car drivers driving with broken arms and legs.  One of my beloved Blackhawks players finished the Stanley Cup run out last year with a torn MCL.  I get so sick of seeing highlights on Sportscenter of this guy wincing every time he swings a club--whether it be his knee or his back.

Is there anyone else you can think of that is more of a spoiled brat than that guy in sports?

Too bad morons on ESPN like Colin Cowherd and others don't recognize when drivers perform injured. I remember the year that Denny Hamlin raced with a torn ACL Cowherd mentioned on his stupid show that it showed how little ability it took to drive because any other sport someone would not be able to perform. Countless drivers have raced throughout the years with neck injuries, broken collerbones, shoulder blades, etc and hardly get a mention for their guts.

As far as spoiled brats and since we are both hockey fans I will go with Sidney Crosby. Has he ever played every game in a season and why is it everytime he falls down or gets checked its a penalty on someone?

Well at least he was somewhat correct in the fact that it wasn't even close. Of course he picks the Yankees to win the World Series every year because he thinks New York is the best city in the world and hates small towns like Knoxville Ia, Mechanicsburg PA, Rossburg OH, Etc.

"Drive for show...putt for dough..but when the bimbo is waiting I play no mo!"  Frown

The 1 thing I would say to this comment is be careful saying things like this, just because you aren't into golf doesn't mean that it doesn't take a tremendous amount of skill to play. Its no different to me than when an ESPN commentator or someone says racing isn't a real sport and everyone on here gets all bent out of shape about it. I thinks its hypocritical to get mad when someone that isn't a race fan states an opinion about it and we get upset but then we go and make a similar statement about another activity that maybe your not into. I'm not saying you have to like or follow golf, I just think its hard to get respect for what I like and promote to people if I'm the type of person that immediately turns around and talks down about a different sport that I'm not into.

As far as the Tiger Woods thing goes, I think Tiger Woods biggest issue right now is in his own head and its because of things that he did to himself. Every empire falls at some point.

Kyle Busch comes to mind too, though he seems to have grown-up some lately. Then you have the occassional Danica hissy fit/tantrums too.

Have to love Tiger Woods - "well, looks like I won't win this thing, so f-it, I'm just gonna quit, and beat the traffic outta here".

Your arguement is exactly my point, your comment could be someones argument against racing as well. I don't agree with comment towards racing or golf, I'm just saying don't get upset then when someone says it against racing either.

How could I forget to mention him and his brother.  Perfect examples.

to follow up on a later comment made:

As far as golfers being athletes--most (not including John Daly) have pretty rigorous workout routines and are in very good shape.  I would classify them as athletes.

Will agree not any good at it not really that much of a sprint car driver either but a sprint car will wear you out a lot faster than swinging a lil stick at a lil ball. Tried chess but was to out of shape Ha Ha Some people are just way to serious to have fun.

Completly agree. Some people here are fighting mad when other sports figures claim that our sport is not a sport. If we are going to preach from the mountain top maybe we should not be slinging the same mud when we come down from it.
