Red Rocks looks like as good a venue as there is in the country, how special! I have seen shows (You-Tube and DVD) from there but never had the good fortune to catch anything there live, dang it! Jim, what brought you out there, work? It's God's country, I lived in Sister city Calgary for 6 years and I loved it there. Nothing wrong with clean, fresh mountain air every day of your life......

I moved out here on a temporary basis to escape from Ottumwa Iowa which I couldn't stand. Original plan was to stay 5 months and move back to the midwest somewhere. About 4 months into it I figured out that I liked the area enough to go cold turkey on the racing thing. I usually make it back to Iowa once a year and started going to the CHili Bowl again, so I get around 8-10 nights a year for racing. Clean air, beautiful scenery, great motorcycle roads and 60 degree weather in Feb....tough to leave.

What brought me here? Long story... I had a nasty breakup, my friend had a nastier divorce, we had friends in Aspen, where work is plentiful, so we went. Hated Aspen (rich snobs) ended up working at a mine in Leadville, America's highest town. Eventually went to Denver to finish school, stayed.
Actually, air in Denver is polluted but it looks good. Coming down from the mountains you can clearly see the "Brown cloud". But I like the weather, dry, crisp & no ice storms!
Washington State has legal herb & sprint cars too! I don't think they have stores set up yet, tho....

Rapid City SD, Gillette Wy and Valentine Wy had sprint races last year. Calhan Co has a few URSS shows. Albuquerque has NMMRA which is Non wing 360.

Rapid City, SD has weekly 360 racing and the Valentine, WY track is Valentine Speedway at Glenrock. WY west of Casper.
