I’m looking for Sprint Car aluminum rear wheel halves with beadlock, at least 8” wide. Look at my avatar, and you get an idea what I use them for. I build adult-size pedal cars, some of which sail on water. We use them in a hobby called Kinetic Sculpture Racing, and also in parades and other events.
That car in the avatar is floating mostly on four right rears. (It also has a bent front end, from hitting the water too fast.)
This is strictly a lo-bucks hobby, so I need to use wheels that are very cheap. Something in your scrap pile might work for me.
But not old heavy wheels – weight matters here also. So only relatively modern ones with18 and 15 center mounting holes – possibly the larger 20 holes type. I also need 6-pin centers.
I will try to make it to the Stockton Swap Meet on the 9th, yes.
I’m 100 miles north of Sacramento, but can travel a bit. Please e-mail me.
Update: The Stockton 99 swap meet has been moved four weeks to March 9, so that's when I could rendezvous with somebody from further away than I would normally travel. Meanwhile, I could travel Chico, Sacramento, Bay Area, Fort Bragg, and perhaps a bit further. I'm in Clearlake.
