We're all hoping that your wife makes a speedy and full recovery Hawker.
As far as whatever went down in private none of us can say we're innocent in that regard. We're all passionate racefans with opinions (that everyone d*mn sure better agree with) and we've all gotten into a p*ssing match at one time or other. In the final analysis I think we're not such a bad group of stubborn old men (and women). Give it some time and tend to family business, racing is just entertainment and it's not the most important thing in life. Some folks don't care for these boards and would rather frequent the racing news sites. You've got to be prepared to sort through the doo doo on these boards. I've dished my share out and ruffled some feathers unintentionally by trying to be funny and having it backfire. It's easy to do on the web.
P.S. If I'm correct you're one of the people who have been online since way, way back in the early days in the mid 90's before the masses joined us. It used to be more fun when the web was a much smaller place and everybody wasn't out to make a buck. There are a lot of good things to say about those days when the web was a small community of racefans/computer geeks and we were plodding along on our 14.4 dialup
