Hang in there Pat, and nothing but best wishes on a full recovery for your bride. The number of us who have actually met you in person fully understand your place in the sport, contrary to anything MSPN has to "type" on here.
You are correct, life is short... take care of your family and all other things will take care of themselves.

Hawker,
We send along our best and will say an extra prayer for you both today. PLEASE let me know if there is anything that we can do from here in SW MO. If you need help up there, please don't be afraid to ask, we'll make it happen. Take care and keep us updated.

Sorry to hear about Debbie, Pat, we will keep her in our prayers. Ricky Miller who took over my column in Gater Racing News when I left Long Island in 1973 had a stroke at about that age and today he is fine. Went through rehab and is doing great today. Hope Debbie has the same results.

Hawker, we've had some arguments, but unlike some other people on this forum, I take none of it personally. My thoughts are with you man.

All the best Hawk. Come back soon. We are thinking of you and your family.

Hawker, we all come to this place to express our passion for this sport. Often times we choose to disagree or to adopt different views. Unfortunately, this passion will lead some people to extremes in their behaviour and actions. The inconsiderate actions of one person isn't worth silencing your voice in this forum and possibly diminishing your love of this sport.
The thoughts, hopes and prayers of this community are with you and your family. Take strength from that and when your wife's condition improves the people will be here to welcome you back.
