I know Gary retired, but what is he doing these days? Any plans for him to race again? It's kinda a funny deal, for years and years and still to this day he's been my favorite sprint car driver. I always wanted a t shirt of him and two years ago ( his last Short Track Nationals) I finally was able to purchase a shirt and meet him and get a pic taken with him. I think it was kinda a neat deal. I was hoping he would win the STN's that year he was actually on the front row for the A main. It sure is different going down to Little Rock in October and not seeing the white and red #9 sprinter in the pits.

Certianly one of the best (ever). Really miss not seeing him race and visitiong with him and Mr. Grady. One of the all time fan favorites. Yes sir G-Dub was the MAN!!!!!!!

To everyone else Devils Bowl was an oval track.
To Gary Wright it was All Straightaway.

Knoxville....great photo....explains the Goodyear tire.....saw GW playing golf at the Steve King Memorial tourney preceding Devil's Bowl Winter Nationals.....golf and grand kids equal a pretty busy, and fulfilling, schedule.....GW always a great ambassador for the sport
