I heard Alan Ambers has left GP motorsporst. Does anybody know his plans for next year yet? Alan is good young driver that just has had some bad luck. Young people are the future of this sport I hope car owners will start to understand that.

From what I seen throughout the year it looked like to much drama in their pit. I have no idea if he left or was fired but ether way good for him hope the kid gets a quality ride where he can learn. Way to many hands and drivers where he was. Good luck to Alan

I had heard that Alan was told the ride was his on one condition and that was that he maintained and crewed for the car owners son in Outlaw Dirt Karts @ English Creek.
I haven't personally seen anything that I'd consider "special" out of either of the Ambers, but maybe they just didn't have the equipment to run up front (although it seems that Walraven had no trouble doing so in the same cars and equipment).

Just talked to Alan first time he had heard he was fired. He was told that there was only enough money for a 305 this year so he started to look for a 360 ride for the year. He said he has some things in the works just not ready to anounce it yet. Hopefully he gets a shot to live his dream of driving sprint cars.

Hopefully Alan lands on his feet and gets another shot. He deserves it. Had a rough year in 2013 but doesnt usually run through much equipment. Him and his crew bust their ass in the shop.

Talked to people that race at english creek. Alan Was not in charge of crewing on his sons car. He was willing to help any kid in need, other then that he helped in the infield. So those "facts" are false. So much for from the mouth. Alan was willing to put my son in his car more then once this year even after a crash. I did some looking and Alan has won five races i believe in the past two years involving a great last lap pass i just watched to win the Jackson nationals. I hope he finds a vetern team looking to fill a seat. Hope to see him at the races soon.

I've know Alan for the since his rookie year in sprint cars. He can drive! He just needs the right car / crew. His run at at the Jackson Nationals was a great example of what he is capable of. I woul come out of retirement to tune any car he is driving! Good luck AA in fnding the right car!
