I hope you join me in boycotting Limaland Speedway  & UNOH until Randy Hannagan and Shawn Dancer are paid.  This includes skipping the Brad Doty Classic.

Everyone continue to push this issue via facebook, twitter and on-line radio shows such as Winged Nation and TJSlideways podcast.

They attended a chairty race in California for Make A Wish foundation ........ they deserve to be paid what is due to them!  Is Limaland Speedway/UNOH against supporting sick children??  This is a very poor reflection on UNOH who I beleive run the track.

So you would be for "boycotting" the Doty Classic and show disrespect to a class act like Brad Doty. Thats pretty low class to me. Bet Randy would agree. He can fight his own battles.

I'm in on the boycott!!! What is the name of the facebook page??  I would surly hope that Doty would show his displeaser with Limaland/UNOH over this deal.. If a racer/owner is at another race, they should be excused from the banquet. Not the the racer / car owners fault that the track was dumb enough to have a year end banquet in October when racing is still going on in other parts of the state or country..

I hope you all know, Hannagan was paid more than the $3,500 to come out to Cali and race the Trophy Cup. Yeah the track shafted him for 3.5k, but that's no reason to take it out on Mr.Doty. Randy knew it was one check or the other. He went with more money and a race back home in California over a banquet and a smaller check.

Sorry, not missing the Doty Classic over this issue. Especially if it is true that he got paid to go out to Cali. Not saying its a good rule or bad rule but they knew about it when the season started. No reason to miss one of the best races of the year in honor of one of the best drivers and person of the year.

From every experience ive had with Mr. Doty I have found him to be nothing but a class act.  I think the guilt by association thing is a little bit extreme and unwarranted.

Rather then boycott the Doty race, I would think someone would make a bunch of flyers and hand them out to anyone entering the event. Making sure everyone knows what is going on with their racers!

You'd had better do it from Dutch Hollow Rd. or you will probably be told to vacate the premises.

Anybody else remember the All Star drivers trying to look at the track in turn 3 & the Sheriff's made them get back ?? Then they closed the gate so they couldn't get closer. As people are saying about they are the ones risking there lives & they wouldn't leave them up there. I think the drivers had a little meeting & were about to load up & Limaland changed there tune.

I've said before that they think they are the shit but in reality they have 1 of the worst announcers in the sport along with that idiot flagman. I've even been put down for saying the crap that happens out there but lo & behold the light has been brightened & some see it clear out there on the West coast because of 1 man.

I was actually just replying to the post before mine that stated that he was which I did not know was true or not. Whether it was or not doesn't really matter to me because I'm still not boycotting The Brad Doty Classic over this issue. If others do then that is their decision.

The 1 thing I would suggest is if your going to hand out flyers explaining the situation, I would certainly think that to give people the entire story you will also print out a copy of the Limaland rules and hand out too, which in bold letter states this rule and has always stated from beginning of season to end. Also to explain to the people that the same thing happened to Randy last year, so he came back to the track this year and ran for the points again full well knowing the rule. Whether you like the rule or not, it was not a tricky bait and switch move by the track, the competitors all knew the stipulation from the start. As far as making an exception for him, on the other thread the guy that came on and gave an opinion from the FAST series or whatever and said they make exceptions and he was immediately blasted by a few guys that "why would you allow exceptions" and "If you made an exception for 1 person but not me I'd sue you". It is a damned if you do and damned if you don't world and they probably know that if they allowed an exception for Hannigan then half the racers would come with things they had going on and couldn't make it so where does it start and stop.

Don't take my comments as being against Hannigan either, from what I understand of this he isn't even making that big of a deal about it, I did like the comment someone in his camp made in the other thread on this subject that they did ask Limaland if they wouldn't give the prize money to the team, to donate it to a charity like make a wish in their name but they wouldn't do that. That to me would have been a very good resolution because the track had to have had the money deducted out of the budget anyways because he would have been paid it if he'd showed up so just pay the money out to a charity or even to a local non-profit group like a local volunteer fire dept. or ambulance group.

I just have a hard time feeling too bad when he knew very well what the rule was when he went to the first race and proceeded to race there the whole season. I think its easy to come on this Forum and critisize others decisions when we're not the ones who have to make them or know what the full other side of the story is and what some of the other reprecusions are once you make that decision and the chain of events that can be set off after it.

They knew the rules from the start of the year,& they knew the consequences. The World Of Outlaws have that EXACT rule there as well,so it's not just Lima that have that rule in place. Fact is they chose to go to Cali instead & forfeit their ppint fund money, case closed. So I will be seeing everyone at the Brad Doy Classic,I'm not boycotting nothing!! Lmao

Now you know why our country is in disarray,  nobody will stand for the right thing.  Pay Randy his money due or we wont attend your races period!!!  That includes the "Doty".  Maybe Doty himself could help apply pressure to those who need to get Randy paid.  People, its a sprint car race and you act like you miss one and lifes over, Jesus!  Make a stand and make it right!!!  Dont be soft.

Why get Doty involved ?? He has nothing to do with what Limaland doe's pertaining to a local racer. since he has raced there alnost every Friday night for the last 2 years we get to claim him as local right ??

Hannagan hasn't taken enough of the locals money ??

Really makes the King of the Quarter Mile at the end of the year just so damn great when he wins most of the races. What if he did sweep the year ?? Would there still be a King of the Quarter Mile ??
