A STN Rookie fan has a few questions;

Can you bring a small cooler of beer into the track?

Do they have any pre & post race festivities such as cornhole tourneys, BBQ's, chairty events, race auctions........?

thanks!

No food or drink allowed through the grandstand entrance. However, there are 100's of people tailgating in the parking lot, which is all located on the property. I-30 is a pretty compact property.

And the track has a restaurant/bar located on the edge of the parking lot. It's full of racers and fans throughout the STN weekend.

The Little Rock area has lots of good F&B options too. A couple of my non-franchised favorites are:

I have had to miss this the last few years so things might have changed a bit, but a few years ago,  most of the teams land their hauler in the same spot from practice night till end of event, and from around mid morning to  middle afternoon, you could arrive at track and go walk through the pit area without pit pass to see many teams and racers working, then at ?? time they annouce all must leave pit area, to re-enter with pit pass, always found this a bonus fun part of event.

Thanks for the quick responses.  Please continue with the restaurant reco's.... we plan to go out for breakfast each day and don't mind driving a few miles for some good southern food.

as an i30 regular...the resteraunt is closed in the adjacent parking lot. There is a good diner in bryant behind larrys pizza that has food all day. You also have the normal waffle house ihop for bfast. Any of the places downtown is good but usually theres a wait. You can always walk around the campgrounds & find a game of any sorts going on that you can jump in. Hope you have a great xperiance. If there are any other questions u need answered fire away!

When did the Pitt close? I guess we haven't been there since April to eat.

The Short Traxx Bar and Grill closed mid summer, but I thought I heard Joe Clay Jr announce at last weekends races that it would be open for the STN ?
